Courthouse Advisory Panel

The Courthouse Advisory Panel (CAP) was created by the Johnson County Board of County Commissioners. The 13 members to the panel were affirmed Thursday, December 9, 2010.

The purpose of the CAP is to make recommendations on issues of capital investment, operational improvements and financial strategies to meet the needs of the courts and justice system in the future. The CAP will utilize the sinificant body of work from studies completed in 2005 and 2008 and draw upon the expertise of an outside facilitator and the Technical Advisory Panel of experts who are intimatley familiar with operations, buildings and systems.

On July 7, 2011, the CAP presented its findings and recomendations to a Committee of the Whole of the BOCC. The summary of their findings is availalble in this PowerPoint Presentation.
